Yoga for Foundation
I am so excited to bring Yoga for Foundation to our practice! This is not just ‘beginners’ yoga! All postures have balanced directions and actions. We will embody different postures each week, feeling the lines of energy and cultivating stability and extensions for each pose. This knowledge will bring more strength, ease and fluidity to your practice. We will also incorporate a vinyasa flow into each class, using what we have learned.
Guided Meditation
Allow yourself to find a comfortable seat and I will guide you through meditation. As you follow my voice, you will learn various tools for releasing tension and for finding your center. The benefits of guided meditation are vast: better sleep, less anxiety, more patience and breath awareness. Gentle Flow + Restore
This class begins with a gentle yoga practice followed by Yin Yoga. Yin is a grounding, restorative practice. We melt into passive poses using props such as bolsters, blankets and blocks ~ even rolled beach towels can be used! I incorporate knowledge of fascia release throughout this class. Discover where you are holding tension so you can begin to let go. No yoga experience required. This class is offered in my home studio and on Zoom.
Vinyasa Flow
This energizing class emphasizes proper alignment and breath work as we flow between postures. You will build strength, balance and breath awareness. Modifications are always offered so that this practice can be shared by yogis of all levels. This class is offered in my home studio and on Zoom.
